The Lodge - Ellijay

We had an amazing stay in this beautiful, spacious cabin and felt right at home from the moment we arrived. It’s thoughtfully designed with entertainment for all ages, making it perfect for a family getaway. Michael was an amazing host! The bedrooms are cozy with very comfortable beds, fresh linens, and plush comforters. The 5½ spotless bathrooms each have a unique style and hotel-quality toiletries, and the cabin is well stocked with towels, laundry detergent, and other thoughtful essentials. Everything is exceptionally well organized with great attention to detail—truly one of the nicest cabins we’ve stayed in, and we’d love to return. The location is also ideal—just minutes from the main road with an easy drive, 3 minutes to Dollar General and a gas station, and 10 minutes to downtown Ellijay. The outdoor spaces are a highlight, especially the hot tub, fire pit, and relaxing areas. A perfect place to unwind, have fun, and enjoy time with family. Highly recommended!!

We had a group of 14 adults and children staying here for our annual family cousin vacation, and this house was perfect for our group. It was beautiful, spacious, and offered plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. One of my favorite parts was sitting on the front porch each morning, drinking my coffee while listening to the birds, watching the deer, and enjoying the peaceful sound of the rain falling through the trees. It was such a relaxing place to unwind. The house was well-stocked with games, and the kids loved having their own space downstairs where they could hang out away from the adults. The location was peaceful and private while still being just a short drive from town, making it the best of both worlds. Michael was an excellent host and responded to every message promptly. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway for a large family or group.

We had a wonderful stay at Michael’s property in Ellijay and would definitely recommend it, especially for large groups or multi-family vacations. The house layout worked perfectly for our group. it’s excellent for both kids and adults with lots of space to spread out. The beds were comfortable, the game rooms were a hit with the kids, and the whole house was very clean when we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials we needed for cooking. The kids loved the hot tub. This was our 9th annual summer trip. Three college friends who now live in three different states, we always try to find a central location so we can bring our families together each year. Michael was very responsive. We reached out to him a few times during our stay and he was always quick to respond and very helpful. A couple of notes for future guests: the driveway is quite steep — our minivans barely made it up. There is a flat driveway though as an alternative. Also, keep an eye out for wasps.
