Great view and peaceful location to get away from it all. Host was super helpful and friendly and helped us feel at home. Will stay again when we can.
We had a great stay! Beds were comfortable and home was clean. View was gorgeous, area was private and very quiet! Loved it!
This lovely cabin has plenty of spaces to spend time to include a bedroom on every floor, a loft, a screened porch, a living area downstairs and on the main floor, a small studio, 2 spacious decks, and a sun room off the primary bedroom upstairs. The dead end road was quiet and deer, birds, and bunnies visiting. You can day trip from Helen to Lake Rabun to South Carolina to Tennessee to Highlands if you truly wanted to. I was there for months so I did a lot of day trips, including visiting the Appalachian Trail. But there's plenty of waterfalls, hiking, and small downs nearby. Instacart services the cabin if you want to let someone else do the running around for you, and my experience with the local medical providers was a positive one. Cherry Log is very peaceful, and Michael was a great host. I was in the cabin from February to late May, and I had a great time. I already miss the deer greeting me in the morning,
